We had an amazing time at Mountain Valley Homestay, the rooms are comfortable with lots of space and a stunning view of the mountains and sunrise. It's in a quiet spot just out of town, we arrived with very little plans but Sonam showed us some gorgeous natural areas and beautiful buildings. Food is available for extra or cooking equipment for self catering. Sonam and his mother are exceptionally kind and generous couldn't recommend more.

The place is cozy and comfortable. Inn location is great, near to zoo- HMI- Museum, Mall Road. The owner and staffs are very kind and helpful. They made sure that the stay is comfortable, even arranged cab facilities for pick and drop and sightseeing with reasonable pricing. Great coordination from end to end!

Everything was excellent. It's a new luxurious hotel. The staff were friendly and kind, the room was luxurious with a wonderful smart TV. The food was great value. It was nice to have breakfast on my balcony.

Stayed at Asraya Homestay for 3 nights, and it was an unforgettable experience. The homestay offers some of the most beautiful mountain views you could ask for. Although my 3 rooms didn’t have a direct view of Kanchenjunga, the scenery was still breathtaking, and all the pictures you see online are absolutely true – it’s just as stunning in real life. The location is ideal, only a 15-minute walk from Chauk Bazaar, making it convenient yet peaceful. The hospitality here is top-notch. Vicky, the host, is one of the warmest, most helpful people I’ve met. He went out of his way to assist whenever there were any issues with drivers, which made my stay stress-free and enjoyable. A tip: definitely speak with him before booking any transport or packages – his knowledge and connections are invaluable! The cleanliness and upkeep of Asraya Homestay are impeccable, and the staff are friendly and attentive. And don’t miss trying the tea – Vicky serves the best tea I had in Darjeeling, perfect for enjoying with the beautiful views. Overall, Asraya Homestay is a gem in Darjeeling. Its new so there are less reviews to go by but I’m sure they will become one of the bests in no time. If you’re looking for a place with great views, exceptional hospitality, and all the comforts you’d need, this is it. I’ll definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at the Alpine Jungle Stay ( 4 friends from UK). The rooms were amazing and really different to the rest of India - almost japanese style. They made delicious dinners and breakfast, and couldn't have done more for us. They also made us lunch for our trek. The owner was also lovely and chatty. It was also out of the way, and quiet so you felt like you had a good place to rest away from busier parts of India.

Everything about the place. An amazing view of the mountain. Fresh and yummy food. Nice opportunity for a stroll up and down the terrain. The bed warmers are thoughtful. Friendly hosts. Helpful staffs. Alcohol was priced at MRP. All in all a wonderful stay. Definitely coming back.
