We had an amazing time at Mountain Valley Homestay, the rooms are comfortable with lots of space and a stunning view of the mountains and sunrise. It's in a quiet spot just out of town, we arrived with very little plans but Sonam showed us some gorgeous natural areas and beautiful buildings. Food is available for extra or cooking equipment for self catering. Sonam and his mother are exceptionally kind and generous couldn't recommend more.

I stayed at Grand Casa for a day and honestly the stay was brilliant. If you’re looking for some peace and isolation, this is the place. The only thing is it’s a bit away from Mall Road, but trust me it’s totally worth it. They serve proper homely food and it was super tasty. I was lucky the weather was clear and I got the full view of Kanchenjunga right from the balcony. The room was also really spacious. Definitely a memorable stay.

The view was amazing. The stay was comfortable and the home clean. Many homestays didn't have parking facility as it is really hard to find any stays with parking but this homestay had and left us enjoying the scenery throughout our stay. Really grateful for the host, they were really friendly.

The place is cozy and comfortable. Inn location is great, near to zoo- HMI- Museum, Mall Road. The owner and staffs are very kind and helpful. They made sure that the stay is comfortable, even arranged cab facilities for pick and drop and sightseeing with reasonable pricing. Great coordination from end to end!

Stayed at Asraya Homestay for 3 nights, and it was an unforgettable experience. The homestay offers some of the most beautiful mountain views you could ask for. Although my 3 rooms didn’t have a direct view of Kanchenjunga, the scenery was still breathtaking, and all the pictures you see online are absolutely true – it’s just as stunning in real life. The location is ideal, only a 15-minute walk from Chauk Bazaar, making it convenient yet peaceful. The hospitality here is top-notch. Vicky, the host, is one of the warmest, most helpful people I’ve met. He went out of his way to assist whenever there were any issues with drivers, which made my stay stress-free and enjoyable. A tip: definitely speak with him before booking any transport or packages – his knowledge and connections are invaluable! The cleanliness and upkeep of Asraya Homestay are impeccable, and the staff are friendly and attentive. And don’t miss trying the tea – Vicky serves the best tea I had in Darjeeling, perfect for enjoying with the beautiful views. Overall, Asraya Homestay is a gem in Darjeeling. Its new so there are less reviews to go by but I’m sure they will become one of the bests in no time. If you’re looking for a place with great views, exceptional hospitality, and all the comforts you’d need, this is it. I’ll definitely be back!

We were warmly welcome by the host couple. We interacted personally connected well. Super comfortable stay and every minute need was vigilantly taken care of. The room in the homestay was clean and we'll maintained, giving amazing view of Darjeeling and Khanchendjunga. Mr. Navang made us feel home and was very kind to roam with us in Darjeeling to show and guide us about places to visit. This place is like a heaven for solo travelers and a group of friends There are bunk beds(separate for boys and girls) as well as privet room facilities. Rooms were very clean and everything was up to date E.g they will provide reading lamp near your bed side as well as a phone holder to support your phone while charging. Hot water, electricity and wifi facilities are excellent,(they have wifi at all 3 floors) Location is also very nice Near batasia loop and from galary you can witness the beauty of kanchanganga peak as well as trains of Darjeeling. The owner and staff are very polite and friendly. Food facilities are also there and it's very tasty. They have a game room with projector. A meditation room as well as bonfire facility at thr roof top. Overall it was a lovely experience And I'm certain at where to stay in Darjeeling.

I loved my stay at the Sunset Nest. I was traveling solo, and felt completely safe here. The room was very clean & comfy. The food was aaamazing! I would come back again & again for the pork curry & veg momos! And, the view, surreal! As the location is a bit down the hill, someone or the other was always accompanying me up & down the hill whenever I needed to go out. Amit bhaiyya even dropped & picked me up from the Mall road, arranged for a car for me whenever needed. Very friendly people. ☺️☺️
