    The hotel was in an ideal location between Cork and Belfast to break up the commute. Food in the bar in the evening was good and the barman was friendly. The bed was comfortable.

    The room was big and beautiful. The location was ideal for shopping in portlaoise and kilkenny. The staff were a pleasure to deal with, especially when one of our meals was not to a nice standard. They dealt with it very professionally.

    A nice hotel. Ideal location for stopping off on way to Dublin Port for ferry to UK. Staff friendly. Evening meal very good and price of special 2 course meal was good value for money. Breakfast good also.
