What amazing hotel. This was my second time in Atitlan and last time I made the mistake of staying in a larger village. This time I chose a smaller village and Aviva hotel, and it was the perfect choice. The room was incredible, comfy bed, stunning views, tasty coffee and a terrace to relax. And the breakfast was sooo good. Run, don't walk to stay here if you visit lake atitlan.

Awesome place, can absolut recommend. Comfortable room with modern bathroom and wonderful farm with lovely people. All fresh goods from the farm are served in the restaurant, delicious breakfast and dinner.

This may be the best place I have stayed. The views were incredible. The location was easy to access, but very private and peaceful. The on site staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good and the staff there were very friendly. Having access to a free paddleboard for the morning was great. Great place to swim right off the dock. The hot tub was a nice place to hang out in at sunset. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and there was (decently) hot water. The concierge was helpful and helped me arrange transportation back to Antigua. Cannot recommend enough!!

The staff are wonderful - so friendly and welcoming. The rooms and facilities are excellent (spacious, clean and tidy), fully-equipped kitchen, complementary coffee and towels, really comfortable beds.

San Juan is a very active and congested town. Even though Nuevo Sol is in the heart of the town with several restaurants within a hundred meters, the property behind its' walls is quiet and lush, surprisingly so. There's a beautiful yard with plenty of places to sit and soak up the beauty and tranquility. The owners are wonderful and easy to get along with. There's also a kitchen.

    The location was ideal as I was seeking something more relaxing. You do need to walk or take a tuk tuk to get up to the property from the boat dock. The bed in the dorm was very comfortable, the facilities clean and welcoming, and the staff was always helpful. The food was delicious and well-priced. I felt very comfortable during my stay there.

    The location was very tranquil and beautiful. We moved here from San Marcos and it was so much more quiet, we had a wonderful view over the lake, the staff was very friendly, the smoothies were great and the common space of the area is really great for some morning yoga or capoeira classes that are being offered there. We also loved playing with the kitties. You can also pay with Bitcoin here which we made use of.
