The rooms were clean and carved into the hill face. The whole area was isolated and steeped in local history while still being minutes from the beach and minutes from the bustle of the rim. We have visited Santorini several times but it was the first time we stayed to a traditional house so nicely decorated in a modern and luxurious way. Before booking we had some doubts about the location for the village which we did not know, but Santorini again surprised us with such a peaceful place.
