Zelinia is the perfect place to stay when you come to the Vikos Gorge and its surroundings. Beautiful views, excellent, friendly welcome, our host is the most perfect host we have ever met. :) Yes, no kitchen, shared fridge, but trust me, we didn't miss it. We drove to Monodendri in the mornings (about 5 minutes) for coffee. As we knew the area, we shopped at the supermarket in Asfaka before arriving at the accomodation, so we could always have breakfast - as we had read the description on Booking, we took plates and cutlery with us. We were on the road all day and it was always nice to arrive at the accomodation. One of us had a cold from the car air conditioning one day and our host turned on the heating at our request during the night without a word and brought tea - we are very grateful for this, we have never had such kindness on our travels. I highly recommend this accommodation!

We loved everything about our stay at Saxonis Villa. The owners and all the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and full of fantastic tips about what to do in Papigkon. Our room with light, airy and spacious. And even though our stay was during a major heat wave in Greece, even without air conditioning, the room was designed to be cool in the heat and warm in the cold. Highly recommend this accommodation

I’ve met a number of great hosts in my trips by no one was as good as Mrs Maria! She called us midway to propose itineraries on the way to the property. Always with a smile. Cooks amazing dinners (pizzas and salads). Breakfast served felt like a home gathering and tasted wonderful. Even provided us with a small gift upon departure! Room was perfect for a night’s stay with big comfortable bathroom. Amazing overall experience and highly recommended.

Wonderful accommodation in pretty Monodendri! The room was extremely spacious and with plenty of facilities including a nice kitchen and a couch. Breakfast was excellent and abundant. The staff were very kind (limited knowledge of English) and allowed me to leave the rental car in the parking for three days as I hiked the Pindos mountains.

The entire experience was of the highest standard! The room was stunning—exactly as depicted in the photos—and impeccably clean. The service and hospitality we received were truly exceptional, and it is rare to find such gracious hosts as Dimitris and Andromachi. This is a beautiful special hotel!! Feels warm and cosy. The room was extremely clean, spotless!! The design of the room was very special and beautiful. The bathroom was big and equipped with everything. The beds were very comfortable. The location was good, in the middle of the village. Breakfast was good and tasty. George was a one man show!!!! He was very kind and helpful, always with a smile and good temper. he knows to recommend where to visit while staying in the Area.

The building we were placed was super interesting to live in and roam around. The beds were comfortable, the room adequately warm for the winter season and the breakfast was very good. The location was also ideal for our excursions to western and central Zagori. It was also possible to park our car nearby.
