The cottage is very nice and cozy, with the beautifully view on the mountains. Inside the cottage was also basic equipment that was more than enough for a short stay. Huge private garden with outdoor seats. However, there are several areas for improvements from owner’s side.

The cabin was beyond our expectations! Located in a small and quiet town near Stepantsminda. All the facility is new and have everything you can imagine- very huge grass garden surrounded by mountains, very well equipped kitchen, laundry machine and very comfort bed.

They went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs at breakfast, which felt both generous and refined—something you’d expect at a far grander table. I was very satisfied with the view of the room, in fact, as long as the room facing the mountain view side of the room can be connected to the corridor as well as the balcony, the snowy mountains can be seen in full view, which is exactly the reason why I chose this hotel and was satisfied. Unfortunately, the weather on the second day was not as good as I had hoped and I was unable to capture the view of the sun shining over the mountains. Next is the part that made me exceed my expectations. First of all, we woke up late the next day, the hotel owner she guessed that both of us haven't eaten breakfast yet, so she shared the cake that she made, which was so delicious, but unfortunately, we are not good at speaking English, so we couldn't thank her in person for her thoughtfulness and hospitality. The last thing that happened was that I will never forget this hotel in Georgia! What happened was, when we left Kazbeji and took the minibus to Gudauri, we didn't realize that our backpacks were left out on the the mini bus. We only found a picture of the kazbeji bus stop from our photo album, and we couldn't find any contact information. We tried to contact the hotel owner in Rooftop Kazbeji, hoping that we could get the contact information of the station. What we didn't expect was that the hotel owner not only found the driver, but also contacted us several times on our behalf, and the hotel owner asked the driver to give us the backpack on the way back to Kazbeji in Tbilisi. When we lost the backpack, we thought that it was probably gone, or the hotel owner she would just pass on the phone number, or how much she/the driver would have to charge us, and that it didn't happen! Even the hotel owner and driver didn't complain to us at all.

Incredible location and stunning views. Just open your eyes in the morning and look on the Kazbek mountain. Host was very nice. We extended our stay for another night. Village Gergeti is small and you should be able to drive off-road if staying here.
