Amazing place. A lot of energy and empathy by a young team. Very enjoy full on all fronts. Very supportive. Amazing distillery tour. Nuala is a great, experienced and eager person to explain you all about the distillery. Highly recommendable. At risk of not being able to find a vacancy when coming back.

Definitely one of the best places I have ever been in my life (and I have travelled enough!). Top cleanliness, responsiveness of the management team on any request (both via chat before the stay and during), super functional flat, cosy, warm and equipped with every comfort needed to accommodate even the most demanding guest. The cabins are completely new, this can be deduced from various details including the modernity of the appliances (you have an induction cooker, an oven, sink and fridge so you can prepare a meal if you need to) or the bathroom. In the morning, for convenience and travel needs, we had two vegan breakfasts delivered: a real surprise! Two vegan croissants still warm, two vegan porridges with oats/granola and jam, fresh juice. A riot of goodness! Unfortunately we only stayed one night at House of Juniper Cabins, but we would have liked to stay much longer!

Really liked my stay in the hostel. All of the staff were extremely kind and helpful. The kitchen was a really nice with 3 stoves/ovens and two sinks. Oil and salt was provided. The dorm i stayed in was quiet and cozy. The view from the Lounge room was absolutely beautiful. Loved staying here in the winter!

    The view was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed watching the Raasay ferry coming and going by the front of the cabin. For those that like wildlife spotting, there was an otter swimming back and forward along with a variety of sea birds. The decor was fresh and modern and bed was very comfy. The location was ideal for our day trip to Raasay. The cabin provided everything we could have needed. The place was clean and tidy and it’s clear that Angus has thought about everything.
