We've traveled a lot in our lives and have seen many beautiful places, but our stay at the Old Manse of Craggan was definitely an experience we'll never forget! The entire setting, the lovingly and tastefully decorated house, and, above all, the attentive service from our extremely friendly and welcoming hosts, Aleksandra and Piotr, was above average in every aspect. Abbeyfield Inn was a delightful place to stay! The building is a charming stone villa on the edge of town, yet just a short walk from bars and restaurants. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom, and the surroundings, including the garden and the view, were wonderful. The Scottish breakfast was delicious and very well prepared. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We would definitely recommend this guest house and hope to return!

It is ideally located in Dufftown, making it extremely convenient to join nearby distillery tours. The cleanliness of the accommodation is impeccable. Moreover, the breakfast provided by the host is absolutely superb. I am truly grateful for her attentiveness and the way she is always making sure that nothing is lacking.

The host was very kind and very friendly. She greeted us with whisky when we arrived, and told us the story of Gordon House. She also gave us a good recommendation for dinner (as she doesn't provide it herself on weekdays anymore). The room was clean, and everything was as described. The building is old, so don't expect fancy modern interiors, but everything is clean and the owners constantly work on improving it. And I must mention that the full Scottish breakfast was very good.
