From the moment I arrived until the day I left, everything about my stay exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, the owner of Aurora Retreats was incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. From providing detailed directions to the property to offering helpful suggestions on local restaurants, their warm and welcoming nature made me feel right at home. Speaking of the property itself, it was nothing short of stunning. Nestled in the midst of nature, the retreat offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The serene atmosphere and tranquil surroundings made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It truly felt like a hidden gem. One aspect that particularly stood out to me was the impeccable cleanliness and tidiness of the place. The attention to detail was evident in every nook and cranny. The rooms were spotless, the common areas were well-maintained, and the overall ambiance was one of relaxation and serenity. It was clear that the owners take great pride in maintaining their property to the highest standards. During my stay, I had the opportunity to explore the surrounding area, and I was not disappointed. There were plenty of activities to enjoy, from hiking trails to nearby attractions. The owner's recommendations proved to be invaluable, as I was able to make the most of my time in the area and discover hidden gems I would have otherwise missed. The place is close to Somerled Square, however it is uphill. Hector was kind enough to pick us up from the bus station. We had a very comfortable stay in our own room. We had our own bathroom. There was a small fridge with food (cheese, ham, juice, milk, yogurt), and there were more food outside (bread, porridge, spread, etc) which we greatly appreciated. The place was very clean. Hector and Julie were very nice and always available to help.

This was much less touristic than Portree, and we enjoyed the more local feeling. Easy parking, and good access driving to the major sights. Breakfast had great choices, and the wharfside restaurant was excellent.

Stunning hotel in a stunning location. The rooms were absolutely lovely and extremely comfortable and very clean. Tea and coffee tray was refilled each morning as well. Staff were absolutely lovely, couldn’t do enough for you and took time to speak to us and ask about our trip. Breakfast was gorgeous and plenty to choose from on menu or help yourself. I couldn’t recommend enough.
