Breakfast was great, room was good too. For me it was the staff. They were so kind, couldn’t do enough. Anything you needed they would arrange for you. Fantastic area, close to walks and town. Great atmosphere as well. Doggy friendly too.

Beautifully set in a peaceful location. Family close to hand but private entrance and seating area. Fully equipped with attention to detail for every need. Sofa bed extremely comfortable and enough room to leave down. Perfect getaway for those seeking a peaceful break with walks close to hand but every day life 10 minutes away. Mobile phone reception worked perfectly for checking emails etc. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you for hosting us.

The attention to detail throughout is truly impressive, from the beautifully curated interior design, extra comfy bed and expansive garden. Thoroughly enjoy the abundance of USB sockets, the sweet treats at the coffee station and entrance way and more! Miriams place is an absolute gem, and I’m so glad I had the chance to experience it. Everything was wonderful, Kiel & Stuart had thought of everything… if you needed anything extra they were there to assist. The charm,peacefulness and history of the building with the owners wonderful collection of antiques and paintings. The Garden, Veg plot and Chickens ( which layed our breakfast egg) all combined to make our 2 night stay feel like a week!! We will be returning…

    Location was perfect for me to explore the area and the Brecons on my motorcycle. The amenities are more than sufficient for a solo traveller and everything is pointed out and explained to you by some helpful notices around the place. The local cats and chickens are delightfully inquisitive. Just be careful the cats don't take your food while you are not looking, lol. Oh, and the food made to order was all excellent and made the whole experience really good value.

    Yew Tree Cottage is in a beautiful location with stunning views to the hills. It was warm and comfortable with plenty of space for us. The kitchen was well equipped and there were many thoughtful touches such as umbrellas and a walking stick in the hall as well as local information. We would definitely come again.
