Position is excellent, in upper part of city and an easy walk to centre and cathedral. Quiet street. On Saturdays in summer they close off a section of the old town for festivities till 1am. Maison Seraphine is just far enough away not to hear the noise. Pierre is an excellent host Breakfast was great, with fresh fruit and you could squeeze your own fresh orange juice; Pierre even produced scrambled egg. The house is old and quaint but our room was comfortable and spacious with a good walk in shower. There does not seem to be a problem with parking right outside. We came by train. Take a #4 bus from the station and get off at St Martin, only 1.20 euro. Laon is well worth the visit with relatively few tourists. The cathedral is magnificent, must be one of the finest in France. Some good restaurants and if you want a lighter meal, try a platter from the Fromagerie des Remparts.

Perfect location for an overnight stopover from the Dordogne to the Netherlands. We avoid the chaos around Paris and take the very pleasant route from just north of Orleans via Troyes and Reims. La Ferme du Pré Robert is very quickly reached from this route so no long detour. Ideal. Host was very welcoming, and the dog was adorable. Apartment was spotless, spacious and comfortable & the surroundings tranquil.

it’s a wonderful place to stay - the room is immaculate and you are asked when it would be convenient for the cleaner to service your room. We enjoyed a very good breakfast and our evening meal was of an exceptionally high standard, Julia is the best host we’ve had in a long time.

A couple of hour's drive from Calais and just off the motorway, so the location was great for us. We arrived quite late, after 11pm, but the late-night check-in instructions were very clear and we had no problem accessing the gated site. Looks like the place has been recently redecorated so it was very clean and modern throughout. The beds were comfortable and the shower was excellent. The buffet breafast is very good quality and it's served from 6.30am so we were able to get back on the road to continue our journey nice and early.

This apartment was spotless and well-maintained. The central location made it easy to explore all the local attractions, shops, and restaurants on foot. Plus, the free parking nearby was a great convenience. The host was very accommodating and responsive. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Laon.

Friendly and most helpful proprietor. Rooms were practical and comfortable and suited our needs. Bathrooms were efficient and spotless. Breakfast was ample continental. Location was good for visiting the cathedral and for choice of evening meals. We were able to park in the main square just round the corner.

The apartment itself was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. The location next to the cathedral was ideal and parking just outside. You need to get blue disk from the police office about 5 mins walk from the apartment.
