    The first and major selling point is the friendliness and involvement of the owners. They really went out of their way to make us (group of 8) feel at home and cater to every need we had and provide us with tips for restaurants and attractions. The second selling point is the ambiance of the place. If you are in for old-worldly charme of a historic chateau this place is absolutely to be considered. It has loads of charme and given its location away from the village down a long private entry road it provides absolute calm.

    The location is secluded and quiet, the property is a beautiful old chateau with an old stone dovecote in the garden and the owners are delightful. The room we had was at the front of the house reached via an old spiral stone staircase in a tower adjoining the building. Breakfast was good and the owners Uwe and Irene helpful and charming. Uwe kindly recommended a local company that produces and sells very good cider and calvados.

    The room was amazing. Decor/furniture really suited the chateau. Had a small full kitchen. Lots of space. Including living room area. Location is peaceful. Breakfast was really good. Hosts were welcoming and kind. Easy parking and check in.

    This authentic castle is in a very peaceful location near the village of Brix. We stayed in one of the very spacious apartments full of antique furniture and a very large comfortable bed. The kitchen was fully equipped with a full oven. Climbing the stone steps of the tower to our rooms was very enjoyable! The breakfast was tasty and the hosts very welcoming.

    Beautiful old property in a lovely wooded location, just 30 minutes from Cherbourg ferryport. Warm welcome from our hosts included drink of local cider on arrival. Fabulous four-poster bed with memory foam mattress, separate kitchen and bathroom. Guests every convenience was catered for!
