Hostel with a great vibe, a very friendly and helpful owner, a nice view and an amazing ginger cat🙂 We only had one night there as emergency accomodation after a cancalled flight but it is recommended for anyone looking for budget accomodation with everything you would need for your stay on the islands.

I have been staying in a lot of homes in many places and this is one of the best home I have ever stayed in. The home owner had been super nice and helpful from pre arrival to post departure. The home is well equipped with all the things you need (washer and dryer) and you never thought you will need (like hiking stick) 😂 The only small issue is if guest is using public transportation to reach the place is quite a bit of uphill walk. But I don't mind the struggle as the home is so awesome. But if you are driving or using taxi, this won't be an issue at all.

Excellent location, only a hop, skip and a jump away from the ferry terminal, Tinganes and the Old Town. There is a small market just round the corner and a delicious bakery right across the street. Farther up the street there is also a small jungle gym if you are into calisthenics, as I am. Poul, the host, was such a friendly guy. Will definitely come back one day.

Very friendly and helpful host - Kristian. Very picturesque location of the hostel. It's probably the cheapest option when it comes to accomodation in the Faroes. Reasonably connected to the capital and the airport for being the outskirts of a village. You can walk from the hostel no problem to do the Lake above the sea hike or Witch's finger hike. Lovely and friendly cat.

Good location to start exploring the Faroe Islands. Cheap and convenient. Nice people managing the place. Big kitchen and confortable common room. The cat 🐱🐈
