What a lovely place. Perfectly located as a stopover towards Tortoguero (an hour from the boat in Pavona). Super sweet hosts who do everything to make you feel comfortable. Nice comfortable rooms (be sure to ask for the beautiful, new tree house) and already an adventure to walk around in the beautifully landscaped garden. With a bit of luck you will immediately see toucans, hummingbirds, a basilisk or a sloth. All this supplemented with a delicious breakfast and dinner. Recommended.

Wonderful place, great atmosphere en friendly host! The family has a keen eye for detail and the accommodation is very clean. Beautiful nature and lots of animals. Breakfast was also delicious.

We just stayed for one night while traveling but we would have stayed longer had we known the place before! Klaus is an amazingly friendly host. He took a lot of time to show us the property, served excellent breakfast and offered dinner and was all around pleasant. The guest house is well built and comfortable. There is a lot of forest in the area that you can probably go hiking in (we haven't tried given the brevity of our stay).

Perfect for a stay before/ after tortuguero! Simple, but very clean and comfortable hotel with extraordinary friendly and supportive stuff. Parking lot in front of the room. Pizza restaurant nearby. We even were allowed to let the suitcases with them for our night at tortuguero, as we did not feel comfortable with letting them in the car and the ferry does not have big luggage capacity.
