Although it’s a bit of a walk from the station, the beautiful view of Lake Brienz makes the walk enjoyable. The place has a very homely atmosphere, especially for children, and all the staff were incredibly kind. Breakfast was delicious, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. If I visit Brienz again, I would definitely stay here.

Exceptional location next to the train station and within walking distance of the town center, but still a very quiet and peaceful place. Convenient accommodation for visiting the surrounding towns of Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Murren, Wengen, Brienz...etc. Across the street is a Coop supermarket. Well organized and very clean hostel. Breakfast is excellent, rich and varied. Highly recommend, for visiting the Berner Oberland region. Iwould stay here again.

I can't even begin to tell you the words. This place is heaven on earth and if not, it gets damn close. The walk to the lake takes an hour, you can slide and have the fun of your life with newly forged friendships, have the best meal ever in the restaurant and get to meet the wonderful staff and the local population there, watch the sunset at the lake or watch the sunrise if you wake up early in your bed. The day you will spend here will be one for the ages, please don't miss out!

One of the best hotels out of hundreds of hotels I stayed before. Every piece of hotel is filled with style and history. We played the pool, listened to the antique radio that worked perfectly and enjoyed amazing view of the mountains. Amazing dinner and breakfast. I liked that there is no single TV in the hotel but the books and binoculars instead.

If you rent a car the location is perfect, not too far from interlaken, lauterbrunnen and other beatiful places. Also, the view and ambience of the property were very relaxing! Dont forget to try cable car to Brienzer Rothorn, you won't regret it 👍

The location of the hotel is simply wonderfully. The mattresses are perfect allowing to recover from a day of hiking and be ready for the next one 😜. If you are by bike, the hotel has the full equipment for taking care of it as well. On top, the hotel has a restaurant.
