Very well renovated hotel, rooms are comfortable, almost all have a river view so not much noise from the roads. It takes 8 min walk via a nice forest road to the train station. Pay attention: at the station you need to go to the tunnel in the photo and then you get to the forest road by stairs. Do not go along the highway as google suggests.

The property is set in a stunning area. Whilst Switzerland in general is extremely picturesque, you cannot beat the views which are on your door stop. You are set on Lake Zug with views of the surrounding mountains. Whilst slightly off the beaten track it is easy accessible with the train station a short 5 minute walk away with good connections. Not that you’d know because you don’t hear the trains! You can swim in the pool or take a swim in the lake or even better… paddle boarding! The outdoor area is well decorated with the sun setting down throughout the day. The property itself is designed for couples but is well designed, clean and modern. The host is happy to be contacted throughout the stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again despite being on the pricier side which I think is currently a fair value.

We took two rooms as we were traveling with my two kids (teenager and pre-teen). We had the "budget double" without lake view and expected something quite basic. In fact, the rooms were lovely, stylish, warm, with well-equipped bathrooms, and of very good size. The staff were exceptinoally friendly and helpful throughout - in fact, check-out was so swift that I completely forgot to tip! The common areas are stylish and welcoming.
