Lovely place! Nice and intimate. The owner is super nice and welcoming. Everything is automatic from the check in to buying coffy or wine in the dining room, which is nice and the owner was always around to troubleshoot any difficulty. We had a good time staying at Iris Porsche Hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Our room was clean, cozy and silent during the night. The spacious bathroom was a surpise and we really enjoyed the steam shower.

Loved everything! It totally exceeded my expectations. Outstanding view, great restaurant with attentive staff (try the Marillenknödel!), awesome breakfast, free parking, animal-friendly, lovely private beach with free rowboat and SUPs (and turquoise water!); and all at a great price. This is how you run a private hotel. Hats off to all staff! Thanks for a great stay and for the unexpected upgrade! (Booked single bed, got double! 😀)

We enjoyed our stay at Pension Strobl immensely. The pension is either new or very recently and very nicely refurbished, our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, the view of the lake was amazing, breakfast was very tasty, with a nice assortment of items... It was a great place to stay, both if you want to explore the wider area around Salzburg, and if you want to rest and and enjoy nature. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again.
