Exceptionally clean, spacious, comfortable bed, great shower, plenty storage. Lovely pool, quiet and a minute’s walk to the shore where I watched many different birds and wind surfers. A simple breakfast is also provided, loved the book swap. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful, they really cannot do enough for you.

Absolutely amazing stay! We enjoyed our stay so much! The tropical garden is absolutely stunning, the view from the terrace and hammock is so beautiful! Our hosts made us feel so welcome. Pascal very kindly showed us one of his tropical farm, presented us his amazing garden explaining about the tropical trees and plants, offered us fruits (especially papaya as it's my wife's favourite), arranged for us to do a pinneapple farm tour (on our request as we wanted to see and taste the national fruit, the black pinneapple), gave us lifts from and to the airport. The cottage has everything you need, the bed is so comfy (we slept really well), the aircon is not noisy and it cools the room in seconds. Few minutes walk from the cottage there is a lovely fruit and vedge market. About 10 mins walk there are two local shops. We also rented a car from Pascal so we were able to explore the island and its stunning beaches. We had an excellent time, really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this beautiful place!

Did not have breakfast. I liked the congenial owner Ron Collins and his wife very much. Grounds have dozens of gorgeous, well-tended flowering plants, especially bouganvillas. and owner has large walled property, with building and grounds to host weddings. From my room I could see a little of English Harbour. It's only two or three miles to English Harbour and the marvelous Nelson's Dockyard. There are several types of rooms available; mine was a very basic, inexpensive studio with fan (cool enough for me), just fine because that's all I needed. Owner showed me two of the air conditioned larger rooms with kitchenettes which would be better for couples or families. Good prices.

    Ellen Bay Cottages were so comfortable and peaceful. The view from here was so beautiful. The guest house is in a convenient and desirable location I bet everyone would love it. I loved every second of it. Plus the owner was so welcoming and kind. I highly recommend this place.

    It was a really good location but you need a car! The garden was lovely. The owner was really helpful and recommended a really good car hire and other activities. The lady who came every day was also really friendly and helpful. It was also very good value for money. It was a perfect base to explore the island. The WiFi was also fantastic.

    Self catering. Unfortunately due to natural insect life cockroaches and ants welcome food/drink to carry through to first day was not available but understandable. An airtight storage box might allow coffee/tea/sugar/powdered milk to be stored prior to guest/s arriving. The location was very quiet with a couple of noisy evenings one until 8pm (the bird next door which talks) and loud music until 1:45am on just the one occasion. The view is fabulous. Parking is available if renting a car.

    Beautiful location surrounded by birds and even hummingbirds. Saw stingrays by the shore and short walk to a small supermarket if anything was forgotten. Bernadette and Chippy were great hosts and every question was answered promptly. Bernadette organised the taxi for our group of 6. Four of us stayed upstairs and our other 2 friends were below. We met on the veranda for our evening meal and watched the sun setting. Some of us even got up for the sunrise! It's just beautiful here.

    The location was in a quiet residential area. The home cooked food was excellent and Sharon opened the kitchen that was supposed to be closed for 4 hungry travellers. The Chef cooked us a great home cooked dinner and we were so grateful. It was very clean, had a working air conditioner if we had needed it and a quiet fridge which was great. They allow pets, which is rare.
