It was the last room so no one walks in front of the room so I could sleep with the curtains open to wake up with amazing view of the valley and rice fields. Staff were very helpful. Rented a bike one day and a scooter the next.

Vinh is a strong and wonderful woman who runs the Hakuna Matata Homestay in Mai Chau. Before I came, she organized the transportation and arranged a two days tour for me. Everything was so well organized that I didn't have to worry about anything. The room is very spacious and clean. As a city person in Asia, I need not worry about the air-conditioning, WiFi, everything worked very well. Upon arrival, Vinh showed me the beautiful area nearby. With the bikes they provided, cycling around the rice fields were really awesome. The meals cooked by Huang were terrific and tasty. They were so family-meals and made me recall the meals cooked by my family when I was a kid. The tours arranged by Vinh to the Mai Chau waterfalls and Pu Luong were great. The trips were by motorbike and the experience were great. All in all, Vinh runs the homestay so well with her family and staff. Great hospitality, spontaneous, hazzle free, family-like relationship with the guests. They set a good standard for Homestay 😄🥰

Everything was really perfect, the host was so nice and had good English so communication was good, the beds were comfy and spoiling along with the clean spacious room. We Arrived to a warm welcome from her daughter, puppies and amazing view and atmosphere. Breakfast was good and the bathroom felt very clean even being shared and outside:) would definitely recommend

Also a beautiful location looking out into the fields. And cheap! I would definitely stay again next time.

Situated in Hòa Bình in the Hoa Binh region, Mai Chau Green Ecohouse has a garden. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Very nice family that run the place. I stayed 5 nights in 2 different rooms. The quad room with large balcony had one of the best mattresses I’ve slept on in Vietnam. The other room (104), also had a good mattress but not quite as soft. The rooms are arranged in a loft layout. The toilet is on the main level and the bed and balcony are up steep stairs within the room. Breakfasts are very good and they provide butter and jam (I find that many places don’t). The village was quiet this time of year (mid-April) during the week but got noisy when a school group arrived. I was also able to park my motorcycle in the lobby. I would stay here again.

It's a perfect environment: comfortable, relaxed, far from other tourist locales and with PLENTY to see in the area. Food's great, people are wonderful.

Perfect stay, Co is incredibly friendly and speaks very good English. Always ready to give advice or help when in trouble. We left our bags for a few days and went for a short motorbike trip. They agreed to keep our bags. Very accommodating guesthouse with a friendly family. The location is central and close to all the local attractions. By the way thank you for a delicious coffee each morning.

Was one of our best stays while in Vietnam and was definitely the best food while we were here . Lim is a great chef and you should definitely eat breakfast and dinner here at the property . Immediately upon booking I was sent a welcome message along with a link to a site that explained all the amenities of the place and gave you ideas of things to do . Lim even helped us before our stay by sending even more info when we asked some questions . Check in and check out was easy and being able to have our laundry washed for us and motorbikes brought to the Homestay was awesome! We loved the small town feel and ended up extending our stay even with no issues by a day . Would recommend here

The family is lovely and welcoming, prepare delicious fruit smoothies with yogurt. We had also diner which was tasty, specially we liked papaya salad. For breakfast we got delicious local fruit, eggs and pancakes. We got good a map at arrival with recommendations for sightseeing Mai Chau valley by motorbike and bike and help to arranged the motorbikes for us. We highly recommend this homestay!!
