The host and here family are very helpful. I had no issues. In addition, I was able to store my bags while exploring the areas around Hanoi. The apartment was very comfortable with everything I needed. I didn't cook, but the kitchen was available. There's also a washing machine with detergent that was a must for me as I was training daily. Very comfortable bed and pillows, strong AC. The location is great. Walking distance to the lake to enjoy fantastic sunsets and Truc Bach. My room was accessible by a spiral staircase, which wasn't an issue for me. It isn't soundproof, but the area is quiet, so I slept well.
