Our cabin was beautiful and equipped with every comfort, with a small outdoor patio where you could relax to the sounds of nature. The parking is right next to the cabin, and the shared bathrooms were always impeccably clean and well-equipped. The pool, located about ten minutes from the center of the site, is nestled in nature on an old, unused golf course where nature has reclaimed its space. While taking a walk through the meadows, we saw deer and other wildlife. It was truly a great experience. Not too far from Yosemite, it's a wonderful place to spend a few days immersed in nature.

The location was great as a base for visiting Yosemite, around 1 hour by car from the entrance of the park. Margaret and Charlie were exceptional hosts who made us feel right at home. Their warm welcome and helpful tips on what to see in Yosemite made our visit even more enjoyable. The room and bathroom were spotless, clean and spacious. The bed especially was super comfortable after a long day of hiking. Having traveled much around the world, this stay offered some of the best value and hospitality we’ve ever experienced. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to the Yosemite area!

The hostess was very kind with us. The dwelling is an alliance between antique furniture (as the name "Victorean" suggests) and all the comfort you may expect (bed, kitchen equipments, bathroom). Before coming, we confess to have been a little bit anxious about Sacramento according to its reputation, but the neighbourhood seems safe and we had a quiet stay.

We arrived very late at night but the house was easily accessible and ready for us. The beds were large and very comfortable. Waking up the next morning to the most beautiful view was fantastic and the coffee station was fully equipped and just what we needed after a long journey.
