Loved the meaningful use of plastic bottles as a building material, the initiatives to support the local community, and the beautiful fruit trees all throughout the property. David is an avid birder (ranked #1 and #2 on ebird in Central Uganda!) and is the founder of the Entebbe Birding Club. Birders or aspiring birders are in for a treat, he really knows all about birds! Be sure to check out his bird photography and the shoebill tour (which we did and were lucky to see 2 shoebills and lots of other beautiful birds)! What a nice way to close out our Uganda trip!

The room that was assigned to me was really great - it was not cramped and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and there was sufficient pressure for the shower.

I stayed here for my first night in Uganda to get ready for my safari trip, I told the staff that I'm going to check out very early at 5:00 am, and they were kind enough to pack the breakfast for me. The place was very nice and some how quite, despite some construction going on next to it, which was not the hotel's fault. Also, I walked for like 5 minutes to Victoria Mall to get my sim card and I had lunch there!
