Sitting on the verandah watching the soaring eagles every morning while eating breakfast. It’s a different world down on the pier. Literally the most peaceful place on the island. Book it. I will say that id you are interested in going to bars and clubs on the island you will need to travel about 15 minutes to the party area of the island. It's not a problem but you wont be able to walk to and from the party areas of the island.

We enjoyed our stay during the Songkran fest to the fullest, since it was close to the main road, but we could still escape the wet party and relax at the lovely pool or at our bungalow with even a fan outside
