Aliza was very kind and helpful host to arrange us transportation upon arrival as we had big suitcases and helped us to rent a great bikes to go around. Room we got was on the ground floor, private bathroom, big, clean, and tv is in the common area. It's a safe place to stay, calm, surrounded by local houses and apartments for tourists. There is a construction site next to so it was a bit noisy during the day but we went out anyway to explore the island. Shop and Pizzeria are 5 mins away, (Pizzeria closed on Monday, shop open 8-8, bread comes at 8:30). Kitchen is huge and clean and there is a terrace outside and smoking area in the garden. Many chicken and roasters nearby the place. Riding a bike to Anse Source d'Argent beach is easy, on a flat road, passing by interesting area where locals live and it takes around 10-15 mins slowly ride.

We stayed in the ground floor apartment - it was comfortable and had everything you would need (the kitchen is huge!). Pamela was amazing, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our trip - she arranged the transport from and to the jetty, the bikes, gave us very useful tips and recommendations about La Digue, and prepared delicious breakfasts! (she also provided us with beach towels, which was definitely a plus for us). In terms of location is literally 2 min away by bike from Anse Source d'Argent, and very close to grocery shops. We recommend staying in this apartment!

The staff was very helpful, they provided guidance with transportation they also provided bikes when we needed. When we needed to do our laundry they also provided it free of charge. The rooms were spacious and clean with good wifi. Thank you Medgy for making our stay perfect 😊

We came from Israel, Babet and Andrea are lovely!! Very welcoming, and helpfull. Excellent breakfast Very nice and clean room and garden A lovely place to be in La-diuge!

This is a very nice and spacious house on a perfect location in La Digue! The Shabby Chic Style makes it very welcoming and we enjoyed the nice veranda a lot! My young daughter got sick and I have to thank to the whole ambiance villa team that they helped us a lot with this uncomfortable situation :-)! We had a great time at Maison Ed-elle with Elluna and her aunt Denise. The apartment is located in the central part of the mountain with a view of the tropical forest in an excellent location, close to everything by bike. Several shops, ATMs, the main market are 3 minutes away by bike. The apartment is new, perfectly equipped and impeccably clean. We really liked having breakfast and dinner on the large terrace. You must try the dinner prepared by Denise. Twice she prepared local fish for us as an appetizer and with desserts, pancakes with coconut nougat, baked bananas with caramel - Dennis is the best! and they organized very affordable transportation to and from the port, and provided us with bicycles for the duration of our stay. All in all, we only recommend! We give a clean ten.
