It was raining when we checked in and the host had already turned on the inverter for us before our arrival, which shows how attentive they are to their guests. Four guys on motorbike tour stayed for two nights. Absolutely perfect place, great accommodation and secure underground garage in perfect location. Remote, but only 15 minutes from basic stores & a few restaurants. Staff was helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was nice with classic European meats and eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit, etc. also had access to charcuterie, wine, sodas as needed. Amazing place - the highlight of our trip! There is so much that was great. The new accommodation is fabulous - 2 bed apartments, one a mezzanine, with the most tremendous architecture and stunning views over the Quinta’s valley. Fernanda was an extraordinary hostess, she went far out of her way to give us an intimate tour of the wine production and a perfect sunset tasting with nibbles. You really are a part of the farm, not separate - we were encouraged to wander through the vineyards and pick almonds from the trees. The Quinta is on a beautiful plateau with quiet roads, great for local wanders and runs, rural with dreamy views. The wine was amazing - some of the best while we had all the trip, and tremendous value. The swimming pool is quite chilly, though location is perfect, nestled in the vineyards.

We were welcomed with a glass of port wine (made by the property’s winery) and offered a tour of the owner’s historic home next door. The owner takes great pride in the property and its history, and it shows in her enthusiasm in hosting her guests. The property is also fairly new, so the rooms are immaculate! I would highly recommend this property and fully intend to return.
