A very comfortable space. The grounds are beautiful. Our hosts were so accommodating and responsive, always asking what we needed, and giving those thoughtful little touches that make your stay that much better. The fireplace was so nice in the evenings. Just a lovely place overall. We also liked that it was situated in the middle of the north coast of the island, so traveling to see things both east and west was easy.

From the location, to the facilities, common kitchen, bathrooms and the room, to the hosts, everything went out so smoothly that we were able to enjoy a formidable time in the isle. Never met the hosts, and they always answered in portuguese (thank god for google translate), but they were transparent and quick to answer. The place in itself is perfect. Right in the center, walking distance to everything. Paid parking 5 min, free parking 10 min away.

Everything, Claudia is fantastic. She answered fast when I had questions. The property is beautiful and a real sanctuary. Beautiful buildings, pool, jacuzzi, barbecue, laundry room, lush garden, birds and turtles. Everything is just perfect! We had room 400, cozy and very comfortable bed. We got fresh eggs and avocados from the garden by Claudia’s employee who was super sweet.

We were a group of 8 ladies staying at Olive Boutique Guest house for one week. EVERYTHING was exceptional! All from contact before the stay with owner Susana, to the staff, the rooms, the decor, the pool facilities and location in the town on a calm street. Additionally the staff were incredibly friendly, warm hearted and they mastered the gift of making you feel right at home and taken care of with the best hotell service at the same time. They helped us with local recommendations, booking taxis and much more. Also we had many people with different allergies and dietary requests (gluten, dairy, vegetarian and vegan) in our group and the staff with Julia at the lead did an amazing job with serving breakfast options which made very one happy! Our stay met all our needs and wishes and exceeded every ones expectations. We can warmly recommend Olive Boutique Guest house and hope to be back soon!

Joao was a very friendly, communicative and proactive host; we found some groceries placed in the apartment for our arrival; and he was very understand when something broke. The apartment itself is located very centrally, but the street is mostly quiet apart from occasional construction noise from the house across the street (which is bound to be temporary). There's a free parking lot 4mins' walk away which we always managed to get a space on with a bit of patience. The apartment kitchen has all the basics you need for cooking at home, and the living area is spacious and comfortable. I saw other reviews on other apartments mentioning cockroaches and mould - not an issue in this apartment! The humidity was very high in November when we were there, and that was felt in the apartment (our clothes didn't dry very well), but that's hardly something the host can fix, and there was no mould anywhere in the apartment. Overall, would recommend!

Staying here is an experience: the decor is outstanding, and whole vibe of the house is nice! They prepared breakfast earlier for us knowing we had to leave early for scuba diving, which was a very kind and made our day!

An exceptional apartment, close to the center of Ponta Delgada, quiet and pleasant, equipped with everything a person needs and more to feel at home while traveling. But more importantly, the host, Helio, is a wonderful and charming person. He picked me up from the airport and also took me there on the day of my return flight. Before my arrival, he made sure to fill the kitchen with all sorts of goodies - fresh bread, fresh fruits, eggs, cheeses, yogurts, milk, juices, and more. In addition, he offered to assist with the car rental and drove me to the rental company. What particularly impressed me was Helio's attention to the small details that make all the difference - from preparing an organized kit with instructions on where to travel, clear and organized instructions for operating the kitchen, towels to take with me for bathing in the thermal pools, slippers waiting for me on the day of arrival, assistance with laundry. Helio was available at any hour for my questions. The hospitality at Caminhos nos Levam pela Ilha was unforgettable, and I have no doubt that if I visit the Azores again, I will book there again!
