The fireplace was so nice in the evenings. Just a lovely place overall. We also liked that it was situated in the middle of the north coast of the island, so traveling to see things both east and west was easy.

The staff is very friendly, the jacuzzi is amazing after a day of visiting and the breakfast was delicious. The room was very nice, the beds comfortable and everything was clean. It's a bit outside of the city center of Ponta Delgado which makes it a very calm and relaxing place to stay. To get dinner in the center it's only a 15 minute drive.

The apartment was spacious and pretty with a huge balcony and views. It would be the best for 2 people, but as a family 2+1 we fitted well too. The kitchen was well equipped and the host left some coffee, tea and delicious jam and honey for us to try. Our Host was extraordinary and made our Christmas even better by bringing some traditional portuguese donuts on Christmas Eve. We loved the stay and would truly recommend it for everyone staying in São Miguel! 🥰
