This is the perfect accommodation to really experience Pico life! You are so well located for Madalena, the airport, the mountain & the ocean. Everyday you have views & at night Lajido is so quiet it really was bliss. Claudio is an amazing host, you can tell he really loves Pico. He is so knowledgeable about the island. We had a welcome pack & he gave us a bottle of his own wine which was such a treat. He is a testament to the generosity of the people of Pico & we are glad to have booked with him. The kitchen was really well equipped which we really valued - the houses are well thought out & exceeded our expectations.

Everything was brilliant. We liked Pico dreams so much we came back for a second visit after going to Faial. One of the few reasonably priced places with a swimming pool! Super hosts.

This is the perfect place to stay! Enjoy silence, the well equipped house and very friendly hosts! Beautiful hiking trails are directly around the house and on the way there from Madalena we had a great roadtrip along the scenic road along the lakes to the east of Pico. That we could enjoy evening sun on the upper terrace didn't we expect, but was a wonderful surprise. Even better was just seeing the sunrise from the bedroom :)

Casa Baleia Laranja on Pico Island was an absolute delight. The property is unique and exquisitely designed, equipped perfectly for a cozy and comfortable stay. Everything perfect! The house is beautiful, very clean, functional and with an amazing view on the ocean. The host has always been accessible, friendly and welcoming. Super Recommend place and the singing cagarros in the evening is one of the best soundtracks ever!
