First of all the property is very beautiful, you have privacy in your own cottage and a beautiful garden with sunbeds. The cottage is very spacious and has everything you need, including a well equipped kitchen. The location is also very good, in proximity of all the important waterfalls and also Faja Grande is beautiful. Best part is that the owner is the most nice and helpful man. Ricardo helped us a lot with recommendations of restaurants and activities. We ate in almost all the places recommended and everything was delicious. He helped us a lot also when our flight back was cancelled due to bad weather.

The property features quiet street views. Very large, fully equipped and stylish apartment conveniently located on the heights of Lajes. Access by car is easy. The hosts really did the utmost to make us feel welcome: they even managed to enable a very early check-in for us, as we arrived in the morning. Coffee tabs for the nespresso machine and other goodies were offered!, and a word of welcome (in French) on the kitchen whiteboard. We had detailed instructions for everything and humidity was not a problem at all! We did not cook, just prepared breakfast, and had little time to enjoy the view, as we were constantly on tour. Going out to restaurants in the evening requires driving… or uphill walking with a full belly, but even the latter is feasible.

The location is the best, very close to several restaurants, a supermarket and a bar with the ocean view and amazing coffee. The host left some food for breakfast for us which was very appreciated, and we especially enjoyed the local pineapple jam. The house had everything you need for your stay. It was clean and quiet. Highly recommend to stay here!

The kitchen window view is out of a magazine. The rooms are large and comfortable. The living room is a good size, and so is the kitchen. Two bathrooms are very important. Both worked great and recently done. Outside parking along the sidewalk was great. House was easy to enter and leave. Overall, it's a great area and a great stay while on the island. You will need a car anywhere on the island. My one photo is the kitchen window. The rest are of the island.

Communication with the host was quick and easy, Pedro suggested what is worth to visit including hike suggestions and small present on arrival. The coffee pads for the coffee machine were provided by the host, which was nice.

We enjoyed staying here and will certainly book again at Oceanus.
