Not only this, but you are at one with bamboo and palm trees and get to sleep under the stars and moon. We had all types of weather and they were all romantic and enjoyable. I slept like a baby, falling asleep watching geckos and bats feasting or seeing satellites go past. The host Johan and all the staff are helpful and have thought of everything. There are hot and cold drinks and snacks which were welcome touches and they are very responsive and helpful with any queries. Best to travel with a backpack than a luggage and you have to feel comfortable driving and renting a scooter as it’s a little far out, but they can and will book the transfer to the airport for you and also make sure you have a moto upon arrival.

But the place itself is even better! I had the best stay at Tanaw Villas. It was my first time traveling to Siargao and this place was everything I wanted, needed and more. Close enough to the fun things like Cloud 9 but when you're back at the place it's all quite, nature and your amazing villa. For me this was perfect. Next to this the team of Tanaw Villas do everything to make it even better. They help you with everything to make the most out of your stay at Siargao. Phiram & Christian and the rest of the team have the best tips and recommendations. Next time I go to Siargao I will def stay here again. Extra bonus is the moment you get dropped of after a daytrip to Sohoton or a Siargao landtour for example. All the others from the tour gasp when the bus stops at this place. And they didn't even see the Villas. XD.

Travel not only brings joy but also reveals that there a lot of good people in the world, quite different from those we encounter in our daily lives. The best part of our trip that we meet a family that treated as a family. I've traveled to many places around the world, including the Philippines, but this place stands out as the best. It truly felt like home, thanks to the genuine Filipino family hospitality I experienced.

The property features mountain and garden views, and is 46 km from Naked Island. The homestay features parking on-site, a pool with a view and luggage storage space. We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was great, the staff were kind and helpful, the breakfast was nice too and the location.
