Ate Macrina is so accommodating, and so is Charles. Although she was busy with her Food Shop, she made sure that we get everything we need. I thought people who's given a review was exaggerating when they said that her food is nice. But they weren't. She really is a good cook. And that's big coming from our family, since my sister is a chef. It's very close to Aninuan Beach which for me is better than the White Beach. It's really quiet and peaceful and there weren't that many people around unlike the White Beach which is very crowded now. But if you want the night life, and buy stuff like souvenirs, you can go to the White Beach. It's only a 3 minute drive. It's not our first time in Puerto Galera. It's our go-to vacation place but Macrina's place is the one I liked the most. Because of the quietness. Definitely going back!

At the aparthotel, each unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. An urgent trip to Calapan, but our usual hotel's booked. Saved by this pretty aparthotel named BURJ that we found by accident. Loved all the modern wood furniture. It's tastefully decorated, has a proper workstation, a kitchen even; good wifi and the owners are super-nice. Roadside but the soundproofing's superb; you hear nothing from outside. Aircon'ed, with hot water. They have multiple units. Parking's available. Wonderful stay for just around P2k nightly. Highly recommend. ❤️

Anthony and Malou and the whole team made our stay unforgettable. They recommended us a lot of places to visit in the vicinity of Puerto Galera, which we highly enjoyed. Highlight was a boat trip on our last day with destination to beaches that you can mostly reach from the seaside only. They were perfect for snorkeling. We will come back, certainly! And if its just for a coffee to say “hallo” and feel the familiar atmosphere.
