That said, it might not be the best choice for older guests like our parents, who prefer everything more accessible. There’s no generator as expected from their property description, but we were prepared for that. The listing mentions potential noise from traffic and neighbors, but it was fairly quiet at night for us. Light sleepers or older guests might feel differently, though. Overall, it’s a great spot for young couples looking for value and a cozy stay!

My boyfriend and I stayed two nights in January and it was an enchanting experience. If you want to be at one with nature, this is the place for you. Not only because the friendly kitties Gingerbread and Peanut welcome you to your bubble, but also because you are surrounded by colourful birds, frogs and the -sadly now rare - fireflies. Not only this, but you are at one with bamboo and palm trees and get to sleep under the stars and moon. We had all types of weather and they were all romantic and enjoyable. I slept like a baby, falling asleep watching geckos and bats feasting or seeing satellites go past. The host Johan and all the staff are helpful and have thought of everything. There are hot and cold drinks and snacks which were welcome touches and they are very responsive and helpful with any queries. Best to travel with a backpack than a luggage and you have to feel comfortable driving and renting a scooter as it’s a little far out, but they can and will book the transfer to the airport for you and also make sure you have a moto upon arrival.

It has a little private pool so you can relax, eat Listen to music or watch a movie. It was really nice to stay and also the staff mostly kuya jeram he was really helping with everything, even when we checked out and needed help he was still there. Thank you kuya for that ☺️

No moldy smell in the room (which is actually common in tropical areas). Great AC. The shower had a very strong pressure, the best so far we found in the Philippines. Staff extremely welcoming and willing to help. They let us check-in early and we could also stay one hour more after check out time. I can’t recommend this place enough! Don’t hesitate to book this place.

We stayed in one of the little houses, the AC works well so as the shower and the WiFi. The breakfast is changing every day with some local specialities to try, and taken in the beautiful garden close to the mansion. They packed some breakfast for us when we started a visit at 5am. We received the best advice on how to visit the island, including what to do to climb the volcano Hibok Hibok (you need a guide and a permit). Everything felt like a little tropical paradise, and really authentic compared to other places we have been in the Philippines. We also found an amazing and affordable restaurant 2 minutes away, we went back 3 times (Tambayan Sa Kanto Tuna Restaurant) Thank you for having us, we will come back for sure!

Nice po ang place if you want to feel the vibes po n traditional house with a twist of modern design and art this is the place. Very accomodating at may good customer service din ang mga staff nila especially sa 2 front desk staffs nila. Mabait din yung owner. If you want quiet and serene place, mga 20 to 30 mins from the tourism road or main city. Marami naman kainan if you go outside at may naka pila na mga tuk tuk or tricycle sa labas. Regular rate is 30 pesos but after 9pm nasa 50 pesos up na xa. We tried land tour, kasi maulan during our stay at first day. The hotel also has its tour packages. And there is a pool and restaurant din. Will difinitely come back and will also recommend this place to friends and relatives.
