He walked with us to the significant pachamama and pachatata and explained the culture behind. His wife cooked amazing food, love especially their soup and trout!! His daughter taught us to make simple bracelets that was really fun and beautiful to have something handmade to bring home. The room is very quiet, clean and comfortable. I slept very well 2 nights. Always hot water for tea and coffee. Hot shower is hot! View is spectacular. I do recommend staying at least 2 nights to feel the tranquility and peace on the island.

We organised the transfer to the local port they advised. The car was (thanks to their tip) safely parked and gated. We had the best breakfast in Peru so far. (although on a floating island). It was very cold but nice and warm under the sheets. Our son says a real adventure and the highlight of our tour. If you can book a bigger room with balcony.

The hosts were super helpful and they prepared us a very good dinner and breakfast. Would really recommend to spend a night in taquile and stay at Mario and Julia.
