Such a wonderful couple that owns this place! We arrived really late and they said it was not a problem. They were so kind and helpful. The property is lovely and I think specially for a family. There are farm animals all around.

We didn't meet Michelle, but felt very well her touch on everything. She took care about the smallest details, and in her absence she made her best to give us the feeling that she is there. The accommodation was spacious, clean, cosy and very quiet. We enjoyed our stay in The Gables and recommend it to travellers who are visiting Tongariro National Park and the area.

Lovely friendly couple keen to make our stay pleasurable Continental breakfast includes home made Marmalade and Jam and mueslj which were delicious. Cookies were also great. New towels every day ,we stayed 4 nights and would stay again. My wife is fastidious and found it very clean and cosy.
