Housed in a building dating from 2022, this homestay is 3 km from Swayambhunath Temple and 4.1 km from Kathmandu Durbar Square. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, private check-in and check-out and currency exchange for guests. This is an incredible place to stay! I have been fortunate to travel to many places over the years and this is one of the most genuine experiences I have had. It is based in a local area, a lot more calm than busy Thamel and gives you more insight into how local people in Kathmandu live. You can walk into Thamel or can get a taxi/bike easily with the inDrive app. The rooms are comfortable, there is very good wifi and there is an incredible view from the rooftop. Nir and his family will really look after you, but at the same time give you as much space as you need to do your own thing. They will make it feel like your home where you can relax and whatever you do, try their meals in their kitchen…..you will not regret it! I thoroughly recommend a stay at peace homestay.

Boasting city views, Rooftop Studio and 2BHK Apartments in Kathmandu's most happening place offers accommodation with balcony, around 500 metres from Hanuman Dhoka. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can access the apartment via private entrance. This rooftop studio was a great place to stay for a week in Kathmandu. It is in the historic/old city part of Kathmandu, but it's easy to get a bike or taxi nearby. The room is clean, comfortable, and furnished well. There is a kitchen, though I didn't end up using it. The bathroom is clean and modern, and it was really great to have a washing machine too. Sudarshan ji and his family are very kind and helpful! Make sure to bring earplugs, because the area gets quite loud from around 5 am onwards (roosters, dogs, temple bells, etc.) But that's part of the vibe!

( Right in between Thamel and basantapur durbar square) is a recently renovated apartment situated in Kathmandu, 500 metres from Hanuman Dhoka. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The apartment has family rooms. The owners were very very nice. They went out of their way to help me pay for the room as no card machine and I was at the end of my trip and didnt have enough cash on me and didnt want to withdraw money from the atm again and pay the 500 rupees. So the owner found a shop for me where I could pay by card machine. Very nice people

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Namaste Home Stay is a recently renovated guest house situated in Dhulikhel, 30 km from Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Such a cozy, and homely place. I immediately felt safe after meeting the family and their beautiful children. The beds were incredibly comfortable, shower was great and warm, with a clean toilet, the view and location made it a 10, as the bedrooms can look to either the sunrise or sunset. And to top it off, the food was insane - best Nepali veg curry I’ve ever had.

Ideally situated in the centre of Kathmandu, Andrew Home is a recently renovated apartment, providing free WiFi and parking on-site. It is located less than 1 km from Hanuman Dhoka and features full-day security. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and currency exchange for guests. Andrew Is the best owner i could find, friendly, smiling and always available to take care about your needs. Last day i forgot my shoes in the apartment and he permits to come back after few days to take back. No one was present in the apartment but he called the last floor family to give me keys and take shoes. Thanks for everything!

With city views, Laxmi Homestay with main square view is situated in Bhaktapur and has a restaurant and room service. The property has quiet street views and is 200 metres from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and 12 km from Patan Durbar Square. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. This homestay is located a few meters away from Durbar Square, and you get a great view of it from the rooftop. It's not a hotel; there are people actually living in the other rooms. The host, Navin, is a very nice guy who really loves what he does, and he will introduce you to his family. If you want, his mom can prepare you traditional Newari meals, and he can also be your personal tour guide, taking you to know the city and the vicinities; he showed me places I would have totally missed if I were on my own. During my stay, I was basically his buddy, met his friends, etc. Overall, the only thing I regret is not being able to stay longer; Navin is the best host ever and he made my time in Bhaktapur so interesting and meaningful.

The location is fantastic The building is new, beautiful and clean.
