I love everything about Alpan Apartments. The location was amazing, facing both the snow mountains and the sea, spacious terrace to see the northern lights. I also enjoyed walking by the sea, eventho it was windy, the view was worth it. The unit was spotless clean and cozy and warm. It is also close to the supermarket. The best part is the owner, Aksel and Natalie, they are so nice, friendly and helpful. Communicate with them so easy and fast response, they will ensure your stay to be enjoyable. They also showed me the best part to see the northern lights (in the terrace was also already amazing) and good hike. Thank you for hosting me, I really enjoyed my stay here, and also for the sauna. If you stay here, try the sauna, so relaxing!

The accommodation provides a sauna, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. We cannot recommend this cabin enough- it’s in the most idyllic setting by a river. It is excellently equipped with- we cooked a full roast dinner for New Year’s Day. It’s cosy and warm. We stayed in polar winter and saw the aurora every night - even from the decking. We built campfires with the kids with cheap wood bought from the owner and had them in one of their fire pits. We went on excursions to see reindeer, go snow shoe walking (self hired with maps at Skibotn hotel) , went on a snowmobile trip and a dog sled trip. All these trips happen in Skibotn valley - many people travel daily from Tromsø here to do these activities - staying here meant we could spend more time enjoying ourselves rather than travelling Absolutely 5 star experience which I would recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at this accommodation. Everything was excellent. It was a little bit far from the centre but the bus ride was fast and direct. Common area facilities were basic but functional. The recommended tours exceeded my expectations: the fjord and northern lights in Tromso winter were fantastic; the prepared tea and coffee were suitable for outdoor activities. If I came in the summer, I would choose the same place to stay.
