The owner and staff were so welcoming. The sunset with volcano views, near the entrance to the river for kayaking. Beside a happening bar. Mango beach is great too. The toilets and showers were very clean. A magical paradise. The hut was perfectly cute right on the water front.

He goes out of his way to seek out information and always ready for a chat. One of the best breakfast I had in this trip so far. On my last day, i left quite early in the morning and Rafa made coffee and got me some snacks to bring for my bus ride. The mattress is so comfortable. Highly recommended!

The different types of accommodation in their own little areas are fab! We stayed in a teepee and was the most coolest comfiest cleanest place we’ve stayed in 3 months! The communal kitchen and register to obtain fresh food n fruit on site is brill! The facilities are top of the range all over and the fine details of the accomodations/ buildings all boast character and charm! The manager (Gaby) is such a kind helpful young lady who encourages social vibes while there and is super helpful in terms of advice and communication (info with the shops and timetables for food delivery taxis etc. they have their own cool surf hire as well which is a nice walk / ride to the main surf beaches! Would highly recommend this place if your in the area, the value for money is literally unbeatable and the energy and vibe of the place and people it attracts is worth seeing for yourselves! Would definitely return if in popoyo again! 🫶🏼✨

The breakfast options were lovely, the view on the volcano was amazing and I really enjoyed having our private terrace with a hammock and howler monkeys that visited the surrounding nature every day. Oh, and the stars on a not cloudy day, best I have ever seen so far! We have really enjoyed our week on the island, could easily have stayed a bit longer. Café Campestre was nearby, great place for dinner. All in all, it was better than we imagined, thank you!

Rex and Julieta are so kind and helpful. they made me feel so safe and welcome, and really looked after me. i hope to return in the future:)
