The hostel is really close to where the ferry gets and everything else in Moyogalpa. Staff was lovely and very helpful and we really enjoyed the peace and the swimming pool.

You cannot beat the location: a five minute walk from the beach and several restaurants The owner is absolutely fantastic and luckily he spoke English (as well as a bit of French:-) The hotel offers breakfast but I never tried it so I cannot comment on its value The room was very spacious, the aircon worked perfectly and I was surprised by how quiet the hostel was The WiFi is very patchy and there is no hot water but I didn’t mind I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting San Juan

we absolutely loved our time at Ananda guesthouse. Our room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The shower was divine. The shared kitchen facilities were great and the views from the lawn area are wonderful. Would definitely recommend staying here if you stay on Balgue.

Absolutely loved our stay with Teresa, we had the best time. Teresa is a very warm hearted, caring host who cooks the best and freshest meals with ingredients from her beautiful garden. It felt like staying in paradise. She greatly helped us organize scooters and it’s a great location to explore the island. We were very sad to leave, and cannot recommend this place enough.
