The playa mangos bar and restaurant was wonderful and just a short walk away. We ate breakfast at La Sirenita up top on their covered deck and was delicious. Loved our casita, super comfortable and we slept better than ever. Can't wait to go back. I even had to take an online/interactive 3 hour class for continuing education, and the wifi was excellent the entire time. Sat on my deck overlooking Lake Nicaragua and had a fabulous Zoom class.

Definitely worthwhile paying the extra for the air conditioning. Great location to the ferry dock, the corner house cafe (mango & passionfruit smoothie with milk-incredible) Also Macondo restaurant has great food-pasta homemade & delicious

Everything, excellent service, awesome staff, delicious food, safe and central location, especially good when its your first time there. I loved there wasn’t the excessive amount of rules and warnings like most places we’ve stayed, it was all so simple and comfortable.

Che was an amazing host with lots of local recommendations and helped us book a scooter, ATV and gave us recommendations for horseback riding. This is an incredibly unique and beautiful cabin that Che built himself as a labour of love for his original home on Ometepe Island. We felt incredibly lucky to have stumbled on this absolute gem of a place to stay in one of the most special places in the world.

When we came we did not have any food with us, he lent us his scooter for free to go get some food in town. We could also store our baggage when exploring the island for a few days. Great location with a nice vibe. Would come again.

David the Manager of the guesthouse was really nice and helpful and we felt welcomed very much also by the rest of the staff. The garden is a perfect relaxing spot with one of the best views of the island. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and very clean. We can highly recommend Ananda!

The guest house features family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. 1000% recommend staying here! Very chill environment and the owners truly make you feel like part of the family. They have the biggest hearts and they also keep the facility very clean and comfortable feeling. We will miss this place for sure

Free private parking is available and the homestay also features bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. Beautiful property with fruit trees. Teresa the owner is lovely and she treated us like family. The triple room was huge and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook or alternatively, Teresa will cook homemade delicious meals. The location is great, we recommend sunset at Mangos beach .You can reach Papaki by public transport but it takes long time, we recommend to rent a scooter or quad bike. The website of papaki is well done and you can find all the information about transport, food and activities to do in the island.
