Fred was a really welcoming and knowledgeable host. He went out of his way to make sure we had a good stay, and we really enjoyed the breakfasts in the morning. The location of the property is incredible right on the water.

Merlin Guest House is a property set in Saint Francois. Some rooms feature a kitchen and a private bathroom. Free WiFi is available and on-site parking is provided. Though basic, it is very clean and well maintained. Staff were excellent in their services and dinner was superb!

The view was absolutely fantastic and a joy to wake up to every morning. The house was in a lovely secluded position on the hillside and so well equipped from a fridge freezer, great coffee machine, excellent Wifi and so much more. The owner was so responsive by text and the lovely Melissa was on hand if I needed anything. She also cooked me the best meal I had on the island. There was a great little shop down the road and excellent local restaurant with a bus stop at the end of the track to get into town or to the beach or It was a 15 minute if you fancied the walk to Mourouk beach. I was a solo female traveller and felt very safe. I cannot wait to go back and can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you are wanting to experience a beautiful authentic island off the beaten track. This accommodation offers it all. Every morning they coming with a little breakfast- a very sweet touch of your day. Very clean and nice apartment! If you need a peaceful place- Palms Ocean views - it’s a great place for you! Jeanette and Phil were very welcoming, and we felt at home since we arrived. Port Sud can be reached by foot, as there's a direct trail towards it (not showing on Google Maps)
