Really nice family. Grandpa and Grandma don't speak English but the little grand kid came to help. Everyone was super friendly. The beautiful rooms are new or at least they look like it. I had a balcony with sea view which was really nice. I went to a really nice little spot to swim 'Borova žuma beach' in the morning which is tucked away to the south of Ulcinj. You can drive there, at least in middle of June, and find plenty of car parks.

Edino has given us really good information about the best restaurants , places where to buy the best local products, etc. Guest services is superb! Edino and his wife are very friendly and nice people. We made a 14 day roundtrip and at the end of our trip we have spend 2 nights at La Mandarine to relax… it was perfect. We highly reccommend this accomodation!

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a heated pool, mountain view and a balcony, Horizon Lodge Medurec is set in Ulcinj. A hot tub is available for guests, along with an open-air bath. Hands down the basest place we stayed on our 15 day road trip through the Balkans! The sunset was stunning and lasted for what felt like ever. They really thought of everything when building the cabin. The hot tub was piping hot and exactly what we needed after days of hiking. They have a restaurant that we didn’t know about beforehand but I highly suggest you get there in time to eat there. It is stunning and the food looks incredible. We had car troubles upon leaving and Damir and his dad helped us get the care we needed! They are truly the kindest family! We will 100 percent come back to this gem!
