Comfortable beds, tea pot in room, beautiful garden sitting area - all was perfect. Friendly staff. Also good location - 5 min walk to beach, and a lot of good cafes and resturants around. We stayed here for 2 nights and then try to go to other place, but we return to stay one more night because its most comfortable place.

Every detail was lacking. Comfortable mattress, welcome amenities, and the people who run it are also charming. If we return to the area, we'll definitely stay here again.

The owner, who is the chef of the embedded small restaurant, prepared for us three meals of a barracuda I've caught. It was the most scrumptious barracuda we've ever eaten in our lives! Sri Lankan breakfast was great, too! Even if it is a small hotel, there was someone their to take care of guests 24/7. We had a couple of very nice conversation and discussions with the owner! Beach is very near! You can see fishermen nets pulled out a couple of times a day. A couple of small shops and a barber are only some 150 - 200 m away, bigger shops and a number of stalls only some 10 minutes walk away.

The room was even better than in the pictures and I was surprised with the cleanliness of it. The staff was very approachable and not obtrusive. The owner was very fun to talk to as he has interesting stories from all over the world. I would gladly recommend this stay!
