The location is great, just a minute walk to the beach. The view, especially sunrise, was incredible. The studio is on the 17th of 20 floors. The studio has a full-size refrigerator and stove top. There was also a microwave. The big washer and dryer in the room was a big plus. I used Google translate to figure out the settings with no problem. There is a 7/11 attached to the building. There are many restaurants within a short walk. There is a bus stop about a 1 minute walk.

Heidi is on top of a hill with its own amazing look out point and backed by larger mountains. There are several comfortable and spacious Danish styled units around a big central garden. Although it was Winter, the accommodation was very warm. We experienced a delicious barbecue and beautiful campfire during our short stay. Heidi is owned by Mr.& Mrs. Lee, a lovely and sincere couple who run Heidi with a lot of care and pride. We felt very welcomed and looked after. Mr. Lee answered our many queries with helpful information and suggestions and Mrs. Lee's culinary treats were always happily received :)). On the day of our arrival, Mr. Lee actually kindly picked us up from Vivaldi Ski Resort. Vivaldi is also accessible by bus 800 from the Tourist Site Bus Stop down the hill. This bus also goes to Chuncheon city and train station. It takes about half an hour both ways. You can use your travel cards from Seoul.

From the very start, Howard took the initiative to contact us before our arrival, providing all the necessary details to ensure a smooth check-in. We drove 2.5 hours from Nami Island, and when we arrived, the scenery was breathtaking it was snowing, and the property was spacious and beautiful. We booked two houses for our group of nine, and there was more than enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The location is easy to find and conveniently close to Yongpyeong Ski Resort, which once hosted the Winter Olympics. A supermarket, bus station, and 7-Eleven are all within a 5-minute drive, making it easy to get essentials. Inside, the homes were kept warm throughout our winter stay, and the children absolutely loved waking up to fresh snow outside. The amenities were complete, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we would highly recommend Terrace on the Cloud. If we ever return, we would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Howard, for the amazing hospitality!

We really enjoyed our stay in Sokcho & Guest House. The hotel was great – very comfortable and clean. Judith, who runs it was incredibly kind and helped us a lot with recommendations for visiting the park. She was always attentive and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was also delicious. We would definitely recommend this place!

Apart from the food recommendations by the host, there is also a nice bakery cafe Seoraksanro nearby. The room was big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 5 kids (ages 2, 6, 9). Host also provided a high chair for my baby. The family suite had a 2nd floor but we didn't use it, mainly to protect the kids. The jacuzzi worked well and was a treat after a long day out. Host was very kind and helpful, made us feel very comfortable. My kids looked forward to his simple yet wonderfully prepared breakfast everyday.

To 오대산 달빛펜션 Odaesan Moonlight Pension βρίσκεται σε Πιόνγκτσανγκ, σε Gangwon-Do και σε κοντινή απόσταση από τα σημεία ενδιαφέροντος Woljeongsa Museum και Εθνικός Δρυμός Odaesan. This is the perfect location for doing a hike on 오대산 mountain. The bus goes from this place to the temple where the hike begins from. There is also a bus to Jinbu the closet town with a supermarket but buses do not run at night. It was clean and had a common kitchen for cooking. Although there are no chairs and table in the room they had a front veranda area where you can sit with power as well.
