It’s a true homestay where you live and eat with the family. The local village tour that he runs was amazing. We got to see so many things that you would miss without a local guide. He said for him it’s not a tour, it’s just going to visit his friends. The veggie noodle soup for breakfast was my favorite.

The owner / host made a point to keep everything as close to the original as possible, allowing you to travel back in time. The decor is really nice, showcasing local artists and artesans, the rooftop is great, everyone was super helpful when I wanted to book travel & tours, have laundry done etc. There is a real attention to ecology, creating as little waste as possible. The location in the heart of the market and just 2 mins away from the riverside is also very convenient. Thank you again Alex for making my stay in Kratié so memorable!
