We had an exceptional stay at the Retro Hotel. The hotel has a really chill vibe, I had to work my 8 hour job remotely and I can say it is the best place I have worked from in SE Asia so far. The ladies were always refilling my glass of water and bringing me a bowl of fruit (free) like 3-4 times a day. The internet was very good and was able to handle my meetings. We booked the budget room. It is a bit small, but we were downstairs all day, where there are plenty of places to sit and relax. The room has no AC but you do have a mosquito net and fan so we slept like babies at night and the bed is big and comfortable. As a guest you have free kayaks and motorbike rental is $6 per day. The most important thing to mention is the food. So delicious and huge portions, prices around 4-6$ but really worth it. I recommend the chicken curry and padthai.

We loved Hidden Oasis for the super cute, very clean and comfortable bungalows and the wonderful couple who run it! It's exactly as pictured. Also the sheets were the softest we've had in Asia, and the beds nice and not hard like many places. The bathroom is larger than expected. There is a drinking water fountain you can refill at reception. We would highly recommend staying here in Kampot. The owners are super sweet and kind. We rented a motorbike from here and it made getting around easy. Pro tip: we went to nearby hotel Sokchea Kampot Hotel and were able to bargain to use their nice pool from $5 down to $3 per person, towels provided.

Oh and there's a nice rooftop with a bar as well, Mr. Leng makes the best cocktails!!! You guys are going to LOVE IT! I can't recommend this place enough

The location is in a quiet part of town and around a ten minute walk to the Durian roundabout. I would like to thank him for all the drinks he gave me as part of the Chinese New Year festivities !

Beautiful and quiet place to stay a bit outside of Kampot center. Anne-Sophie and her husband really created a little bubble where you want to spend your days sitting in their comfy chairs by the river. We booked 1 night, we actually stayed 5! Clean and confortable little bungalows. Very well though with a bunch of shelves and hangers, a big mosquito net and a fan. Each bungalow also has a little terrace but, trust me, you're actually gonna spend most of your time in their restaurant by the river ;) The shared bathroom is kept very clean and only a few bungalows don't have a private bathroom, so we almost never had to wait. Try their "rhum arrangé" it's a delight.
