Staff was always ready with a smile to help you with all your needs. Structure is new, rooms are big and very clean. It is close to the beach and swimming pool was great after a day outside. We used the personal chef and I can assure you top service. I would surely recommend it.

We booked a week at the Rafiki Jua in Watamu, precisely the Rafiki Jua is located inside the Rafiki Tamu, a brand new residence consisting of several apartments (The structure looks like in the photos). Rafiki Tamu is a modern and new structure located exactly halfway between Watamu center and the beautiful beach of Sardinia 2. Our apartment was on the ground floor, overlooking the pool, consisting of dining room with kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. All nicely decorated with a fantastic African style. Inside the structure the entire staff is super helpful, consisting of receptionists, security, cleaning and laundry service (included in the price), masseuses at a very competitive price, chef (available to prepare breakfasts, lunches and dinners). For those who do not want to experience a village I highly recommend Rafiki.

This villa has 3 bedrooms, a kitchen with an oven and a microwave, a flat-screen TV, a seating area and 3 bathrooms fitted with a hot tub. Towels and bed linen are offered in the villa. The property has an outdoor dining area. The beautifully decorated house is in a nice location with a great view of the marina. Nestled between some private properties and the renowned Mtwapa Marina. It’s the perfect place to go relax and recharge. Cleaned every day for us. (One can choose alternate days too) , the house was an immaculate home away from home. The private pool and jacuzzi was an awesome welcome especially in the sweltering Mombasa heat. Getting a chef for meal prep was ideal as you concentrate on your Rest, Recharge, Recovery and Relaxation 😎 The entire team made sure that we had a great time. We have found our home in Mtwapa. ❤️
