We picked this hotel because of its location (quiet residential area but at the same time close to various shops and well connected to the main tourist areas by bus and subway). The best part was the availability of the staff: we made a mistake with our booking and they were able to help us out and save our trip. Luck You Kyoto features free WiFi throughout the property. very comfortable, clean, tasty, attentive & reasonably priced ryokan. the mediocre location is more than compensated for by the across-the-street onsen -- a truly authentic local experience (including the electric bath!) -- for which u receive free vouchers & the necessary supplies. we slept 4 in the spacious-enough "Premium Quadruple Room" -- of which there are 2 -- & i recommend making a special request for the downstairs option w/attached garden. enjoy!
