The entire house was nicely designed. Very open concept layout and spacious. The balcony was outstanding for breakfast on a sunny day. Check in was smooth and parking was spacious.

Mieko-san and her husband were incredibly kind and welcoming. Mieko-san even hosted a small workshop where we made souvenirs together and she let me try on some of her beautiful kimonos. They were eager to share their knowledge of Japanese culture, especially unique aspects of life in Tako-machi. The ryokan itself is cozy and makes you feel at home. It was clean, comfortable, and full of character. We would come back to this ryokan for the owners alone, but the town also has its charm - letting us experience authentic japanese everyday life on the country side. Our stay in Tako-machi and Masugataya Ryokan was truly unforgettable<3

Just in front of the scenic Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple, Wakamatsu Honten is a charming local property featuring large public baths and non-smoking Japanese-style rooms with free WiFi. Free shuttle service is offered to Narita Station (reservation required in advance). The ryokan also has a souvenir shop and coin-operated laundry facilities. I think staying in a ryokan is a MUST during a trip to Japan in order to get to know the japanese culture and tradition, and Wakamatsu Honten is perfect for such an experience. I wished we could stay longer, and the next time I'm in Japan I am defienetly coming back. The personnel is lovely, the location literally couldin't be better and rooms are beautiful - sleeping on the futon is so comfy! I would recommend eating here, we had an opportunity to get breakfast there and it was a traditional buddhist breakfast which was delicious and very educating. The common bath was wonderful. I really cannot express how much we liked it there and what an extraordinary experience it all was.

The air-conditioned villa consists of 1 bedroom, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a coffee machine, and 1 bathroom with a bidet and slippers. A flat-screen TV with streaming services is featured. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. This was our 5th vacation house in this summer holidays. And it was the best house made us feel like a home but much more relaxing during our 5 night stay. All the information about the house were given in the guide booklet in English with detailed pictures throughout message before check-in. We used the Lawson google map address which was close by and it’s quite accurate. There is one Tatami room in downstairs and two bedrooms in upstairs with air conditioners(exuding host private room) and also two toilets. The space was just perfect for 6 of us including 4 kids. Kitchen had everything we needed. It was so well equipped and so comfortable.  The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was efficient, the bath tub was clean and convenient, the linen, towels etc were good quality. The kitchen equipment is also very complete and this was the property had several nonstick pots. Kids enjoyed watching Netflix on the big screen TV. The location was fantastic, offering easy access to nearby convenient stores, attractions (Hasunuma Sea Side Park, Hasunuma Water Garden, Chiba Forest Adventure) and also Halal restaurants (Mufa Halal Restaurant ) Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend. I will certainly come back with my family.
