Everyone at the hotel is so lovely and provided exceptional service! I believe it is family-run and everyone is so kind and generous from the second they met me. I am a Black Canadian traveller and took a Jett bus to Petra that arrived at 10am. I walked to the hotel to ask if I could keep my bags there while I explored Petra. It was early and the man in charge also runs the store (next door), when I talked to him, he gave me the key for the room at 10am at no additional cost, since it was already ready, which is so kind of him! In Canada and most places I have travelled to, if you could check-in that early there would be an additional charge. The room was clean, I dropped my bags off and went to explore Petra! He also provided a map and suggested ways to explore Petra. I explored Petra for 6 hours (I got the two day pass) and got back tired and went straight to bed. The second day, I woke up early and accidentally broke a candle in the lobby on my way out. He was in the store, next door and I told him and showed him, asking him how much it is and that I will pay for it. He told me it was absolutely fine and not to worry. I went into Petra for an hour and came back out. Breakfast is included on the roof, and it was his wife who was preparing breakfast, which was spectacular and she was also very very kind. I am stunned, this family is so beautiful and so is the hotel.

Al-Nawatef ECO camp- Dana Nature Reserve ligger i Dana og har bjergudsigt, restaurant, et fælles køkken, snackbar, have og terrasse. Der er gratis wi-fi overalt. Marvelous surprise. Spectacular view of the canyon from my front porch. Large room with large tiled shower and plenty of hot water despite being so remote. Hosts were great and really surprised this place was not full given the amazing location and value. I could not be more pleased

The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Petra archaeological site, which made visiting incredibly convenient. The host was very friendly and always available to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was also delicious and varied — a great way to start the day. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Petra!

For a one-night stop in Dana this is a perfectly good budget option. I informed the staff that I planned to leave at about 7 am, and they kindly agreed to serve breakfast earlier than usual. Actually, I was ready to leave about 6:30, and they still prepared a simple but adequate breakfast for me. Much appreciated!
